Cultural and community initiatives include conference and event programming on issues and topics related to STEAM initiatives, sustainability, Native American culture, financial literacy content for K-12 teachers and women in higher education; programming for RI schoolchildren includes campus tours and presentations on sustainability that make use of RIC's Bee Education Center, campus garden and greenhouse.
